4 New Recipes To Try: March

New Recipes for March + a Recap of last month

4 new recipes to try in March

Time for new recipes! February has come and gone and it’s time now to come up with new recipes. I’m actually liking this plan, it really does help us get out of the rut and be able to add new ones to the rotation of spaghetti and pizza.

So before I go into February’s new recipes final verdict let me introduce the judges.

Hubby: willing to try anything (except sardines) and if the meals do not include too much green stuff he will approve. Or he may just act like it cuz he doesn’t want to deal with my wrath.

The Princess: loves anything with pasta, mash potatoes and tortillas. She used to be picky but has now upgraded from a plain burger to a burger with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. She even tried sushi last month!

The Monkey: the smallest judge with the biggest “I don’t like that” list. He will just look at something and say NOPE. But he loves grilled chicken, salad and celery.

As for Me: I like everything and anything. But as I get older pizza and wings are less appealing. I could live off salads and fresh seafood and be happy as a clam. lol

So now that we got that squared away, back to last months new recipes. I completely slacked on trying one new recipe per week and ended up doing all 2 on the last week of the month. 1 got switched to a Ham and Egg Breakfast Crescent Ring and 1 just never got a chance…..welcome to my world!

February’s recipes were a hit and miss…mostly with the Monkey…of course.

Here are the results……

Taco Bake

Me: it was good, not my fave since it included chips and tons of cheese. I thought the flavor was too overwhelming.
Hubby: Though it was delicious but agrees with me that the seasoning was too much. Maybe try next time with regular Fritos.
Princess: She liked all the cheese on it, but claims it was a bit spicy.
Monkey: Looked at it and said NOPE!

BBQ Chicken Tostadas

Me: I liked them, I topped them with avocado and a bit of ranch dressing. Yum!
H: He thought they were a little bland. But he chose not to top them with anything.
P: She liked them too but they had to have avocado on top.
M: NOPE!
Crockpot Bacon Ranch Chicken
Sorry! maybe next time…..
Crispy Tilapia Fingers    Ham and Egg Breakfast Crescent Ring
Me: Loved, super easy to do. Loved ♥
H: approved, would like it more if it had sausage or bacon. Of course!
P: She had multiple servings.
M: Tried the tiniest pinch of the crescent roll part….but still a NOPE!
